Black Stallion 2000

By Pickup Trucker

TRUCK NAME: Black Stallion 2000

MAKE:  1997 Ford F-150 pickup

OWNER/DRIVER: Mike Vaters

TOWN/CITY: Haggerstown, Maryland

ENGINE SIZE: 565 cubic inch Ford

INFORMATION: The Black Stallion 2000 truck is second Black Stallion truck. Mike’s first truck was called Black Stallion, so the new truck is a truck for the year 2000, hence the name.

Mike enjoys doing freestyle, he really likes to throw his truck around & push it to it limits. Mike is a bit of a wheelie king in his truck, as he is able to keep the front of the truck in the air, after getting bounce from crushing a car, during freestyle, like he did in Bloomsburg, PA, in 1998 & 1999.

Mike did own the Boogey Van monster truck which was driven by his then wife. But after having a divorce from her, she kept the Boogey Van truck & he kept the Black Stallion truck.

In 1999 at the 4 Wheel Jamboree in Bloomsburg, PA, Mike gave the crowd a spectacular freestyle display & showed them just how crazy he was, by jumping over Andy Hoffman’s Nitemare truck.
