King Krunch

By Pickup Trucker

TRUCK NAME: King Krunch

MAKE: 1998 Chevrolet & 1999 Dodge

OWNER/ DRIVER: Scott Stephens

TOWN/CITY: Spring, TX

INFORMATION: Scott Stephens started racing back in the early 80’s. He drove the Coors Silver Bullet & Coors Brewser jet trucks before becoming driver of King Krunch truck.
In the early 90’s he was a regular in the TNT supernationals. Scott tends to tour the south west of America in his truck.
The truck has always been called the King Krunch, even though with Sponsorship, the truck was known as the Auto Value King Krunch & Kid R Kids King Krunch.
While at the 1997 Truck Fest, Scott Stevens was racing against the Survivor truck, when he launched the truck into the air & came crashing down, completely wrecking the truck. Scott wasn’t badly injured, but was taken to hospital.
With a strange twist to the story, it was Father’s day that day and Scott’s daughter Kendall said “Da Da” for the first time at home with his wife only an hour prior to the phone call of the accident.

Scott has also been racing the truck as the WCW NWO truck, but it will remain as the King Krunch truck.
