Nissan Juke-R – Dreams come true

By Pickup Trucker

Although originally intended only as a concept car, Nissan has announced it will offer to market  a limited number of copies of Juke-R model. Serial version of this concept will have more powerfull engine.  One of the most unusual concept car that was introduced in 2011 will get its own version. Juke-R concept is the result of collaboration between Nissan Europe, and Ray Mallock Racing, it has a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 engine of the Nissan GT-R, and the official press statement describing the crossover as the fastest in the world.  The Juke-R (with drive to all four wheels) is characterized by including a new aero body kit, RAYS alloy wheels of 20 inches and modified interior with racing seats and the new GT-R wheel. Nissan Juke-R weighs 1806 kg . It has integrated roll-bar structure and additional chassis reinforcements, which were necessary to incorporate into the small crossover components from the sporty coupe.  Nissan claims that Juke-R speed up from 0 to 100km / h  in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 275 km / h. In January in Dubai, Juke-R was faster than Mercedes SLS AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari 458 Italia.

Nissan company is saying that they have decided to perform this step after the Juke-R caused a great interest in the promotion of Dubai, which was held in January 2012.

Even before Nissan announced its decision, the Japanese manufacturer has received several orders from the United Arab Emirates, and they expect that number to increase before the start of production planned for the summer 2012th year.  While the concept of Juke-R was equipped with a 3.8 liter V6 engine of 485 hp, the Nissan announced that the production model get stronger engine of 545 hp, which will be taken from the last generation GT-R models. This power increase will be enough for Juke-R to speed up from 0 to 100km in 3.3 seconds and to be faster than the old model , with a top speed of 257 km / h. The market price of the car has not been disclosed.
